Here we are listing all the hidden features and settings for iPhone OS version 10.6 and later. We are mostly focusing on iOS 16, but you can find other versions of iPhones running more than that and even Mac and Linux in there too. But the majority is Android only and not iOS devices. So if your operating system is iOS then you will need to know this stuff so that it does not conflict with any apps that may be installed on one or both OSX or Windows systems.

1) Apple ID and group id
This is probably the most important one, but there are few exceptions. First, if your Apple ID has no “group id” field that has been selected, then your AppleID can also be created on another device, but then a new AppleID will not be created. Even though it is possible to change the “group id” field from one device to another one, such action may erase all your existing files and databases of your existing one. To avoid this problem, Apple ID must not be used on different devices.
2) Touch ID / Face ID
Apple has added two more types of authentication from their website, but here it is mentioned “Face ID + Touch ID” for the first two types of authentications. When it comes to unlocking your phone by your face, Apple provides two separate methods; using Apple (i.e., Face ID) or your finger. It works equally because it is built into the OS and it requires a fingerprint. The touch ID will ask for your password as part of the authentication process and when that will be entered Apple asks you again to confirm it by entering a code. This is done on the basis that people usually use passwords on their mobile phones and laptops so this method works better.
The second type of authentication is that the user’s finger, which has already been scanned when he/she uses the service. For that particular use this method is not necessary because it does not ask for any additional information like passcode or pin etc. However if you need it it is possible to add it and Apple may accept it. But it also does not prevent other users who may be trying the same way by using it. Therefore it is essential for you to enable this option for different applications if you want to continue using them like iMessage or WhatsApp. After enabling the option, users can use either their fingers or their faces to log in with their Apple ID, and therefore this type of security has a lower level of protection than others. In order to use this feature you will need to have the latest update of Mac orOS X, 10.6 or above and the latest operating system for iPhone 12, iPad Air, etc.
3) Mail app

4) Messages App
Messages is an application that makes communicating easy. What you see there is very similar to that of Google Hangouts or Microsoft Teams which is used to share files and documents. Now the main difference here is, you can also chat with everyone else and send videos and pictures. That can also be done via the messaging app as well. But the primary function here is to manage conversations between you and friends. Most importantly when we say conversations you can keep an eye out on what is going on in each conversation so you can take note of which topics may be resolved and which ones may need further discussion. Also, you can switch off voice calls and if you want to communicate privately then that is possible too. You can also set up meetings on certain times and you can choose if you want your own office space or one of theirs.
5) Contacts Manager
Now the final most sought after feature which is the Contact Manager is also part of our list. As usual, contacts, if used wisely by you, will always improve the overall productivity of the phone and the entire platform. It’s one of the things that you should know about your phone and the company. Once you get the hang of it, you can take control of every interaction with people in the world. You can customize it to fit your needs and find out which people call you or write to you in a regular manner. No longer would you have to constantly reply, or check the spam folder if you wanted to reach someone. One advantage when having it is that it is easy for you to switch between multiple contact lists. Or you can have multiple inboxes and decide to focus on specific groups if you want them to be a part of your profile. And this is where I’d recommend creating a backup of your data because you can always change it within the company which you chose in case you want to.
