The Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army (ISPR) has said that the wreckage of the missing helicopter of the Pakistan Army has been found in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, all 6 people on board the helicopter were martyred.


According to ISPR, 6 officers and jawans including Corps Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali have been martyred in the helicopter accident.


The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army has said that the martyrs include DG Pakistan Coast Guard Major General Amjad, Commander Engineer 12 Corps Brigadier Muhammad Khalid, Major Saeed Ahmed, Major Muhammad Talha Manan and Crew Chief Naik Mudassar Fayaz.


ISPR also said that the helicopter was engaged in relief operations for flood victims, more details about the accident will be shared after investigation.


DG ISPR Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar has said that the wreckage of the helicopter has been found at Musa Goth in Khuzdar, the accident to the helicopter happened due to bad weather.


Earlier, it was confirmed that the wreckage of Corps Commander Quetta's helicopter was found by the Khuzdar Police.


According to DIG Khuzdar Pervez Imrani, the police officials have found the wreckage of the helicopter of Corps Commander Quetta.

He has also told that the wreckage of the said helicopter was found from the mountain near Musa Goth near the shrine of Sasi Panah.


According to SSP Lasbela, the helicopter has been completely destroyed, two bodies have been recovered from the scattered wreckage, while the search for the others is on.

It should be noted that the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) said yesterday that a military helicopter has gone missing in Balochistan, in which 6 officers including Corps Commander Quetta were on board. The officers were on a relief mission to flood victims in Lasbela. were


The military helicopter of Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali and others lost contact with air traffic control while coming from Lasbela to Karachi.


President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other personalities expressed concern over the disappearance of the helicopter.
