During the long march in Gujranwala, there has been an incident of firing on the container of chairman PTI, as a result of which 13 people including Imran Khan and central leaders of PTI have been injured.

According to the initial reports, this incident of firing has been termed as a murderous attack on Imran Khan, in which Senator Faisal Javed has also been seriously injured, while Hamid Nasir Chatha's son Ahmed Chatta and Chaudhry Muhammad Yusuf have also been injured.
Sources have said that due to firing Imran Khan got a bullet on his leg due to which he was slightly injured. The security personnel immediately moved Imran Khan to a safe place below inside the container. Imran Khan was taken out of the container and immediately transferred to Shaukat Khanum Hospital in a bulletproof vehicle for medical assistance.

Sources said that Imran Khan's Azadi March was passing through a road when a person came out of the street and approached the container and opened fire. After the firing incident, the participants of the march ran away.
On seeing the assailant, the PTI worker hit the pistol in each hand, causing him to change direction and several people were injured due to bullet injuries in the lower parts of the body.

The PTI workers present at the spot caught the accused and severely tortured him. The police have arrested the attacker and seized the weapon.

Taking strict notice of the incident, Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi sought a report from the Inspector General of Police. He said that the incident should be investigated and a report submitted.

Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail claimed that Imran Khan was hit by three bullets in his left leg.
6 people were injured in firing, Asad Umar
PTI leader Asad Umar said that Faisal Javed was shot and Ahmed Chatta was seriously injured while a total of 6 people were injured in the firing.
