| Thunderstorm likely to occur in Karachi from August 6 to 9 |
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about the entry of a new monsoon system in Sindh from Friday.
The Meteorological Department says that monsoon winds of moderate intensity are likely to enter Sindh from August 5.
The meteorological department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin and other areas during August 5 to 9.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Karachi from August 6 to 9, while till August 4, cloudy, light rain and drizzle will remain in the city.
The Department of Meteorology says that there is a risk of urban flooding in other cities including Karachi due to heavy rains.
